These AR Engineering
throttle bracket kits solve the problem of hooking up your throttle
linkage when using a taller than stock intake mainfold. These
well engineered kits are adjustable in order to accommodate different
carburetor spacer heights, and they are flexible enough to work
with either Holley or Edelbrock carburetors.
An additional feature
of these kits is the fact that they will allow use of the Lokar
cable kickdown system for control of your automatic transmission.
There is no provision on these kits for the factory style kickdown
linkage.
We recommend the
use of the factory style throttle return spring when using these
kits. We also recommend that you double check your throttle cable
for proper operation. In many cases, you'll require a longer
throttle cable when using a taller bracket such as this. Several
different throttle cables are still available from your local
Chrysler dealer if you need a longer one

Throttle bracket kits are available
for small block as well as big block engines. Specify 383 or
440 type motor when ordering a big block kit. A throttle bracket
that fits the super tall Indy manifold as well as the
Edelbrock Victor manifold is also available. We also have
brackets to fit W2 and Magnum cylinder heads. |

RPM manifolds
These throttle brackets are designed to work with the popular
Performer RPM Manifolds from Edelbrock. One bracket is for RB
engines (413, 426W and 440) while the other is for the smaller
383 and 400 engines. These throttle brackets are the correct height
to work with the factory 3 piece kickdown linkage.
The throttle bracket and the kickdown linkage should be installed
as shown in the picture above. Notice that the hairpin cotter
pin goes into the inner hole in the KD pivot, not the outer hole.
The vertical rod in the kickdown linkage will need to be adjusted
almost to the end of its range in order for it to be tall enough
to work, but it will fit.
If you are not using a factory carburetor then you will need
to get the proper extension onto the throttle linkage in order
to operate the kickdown linkage. Holley and Edelbrock both sell
kickdown extensions for their respective carburetors.
We highly recommend a factory style throttle return spring
installed in the OEM location. As shown above, we sell a tall
version of the factory bracket complete with a dual throttle spring.
It is available from the same vendor where you purchased the throttle
bracket.
Adjust the kickdown linkage according to the factory service
manual instructions. This throttle bracket is just a taller version
of the factory one; it does not change the adjustment procedure
or the operation of the factory linkage.
Throttle Extension lever for Demon Carb


Extension lever kit fits the Demon carbs throttle linkage allowing
them to hook up to the stock Mopar kickdown linkage. Demon doesn't
sell have this necessary part available and the Holley kickdown
lever doesn't fit. You will still need the long factory installed
throttle stud. If you do not have the proper throttle stud, Mopar
part number 3418900 is still available from any dealer.
Stage
V Hemi Inline Dual Carb Throttle Bracket Kit

Throttle bracket kit for the installation
of dual Holley 1850 carbs on the new Stage V intake manifold.
Kit is complete with return spring, throttle stud, brackets and
the heim-jointed linkage. This linkage provides for a 1:1 direct
connection between the front and rear carbs.

This new throttle linkage kit is designed to work with Edelbrock
carburetors on the new MP P500730 cross ram. The linkage has the
correct 5:3 ratio necessary to provide full throttle travel with
Edelbrock carburetors. This linkage kit uses Heim joints on both
ends of each throttle rod to avoid binding and to allow maximum
adjustability.
The linkage kit includes the throttle brackets, linkage arms and a
throttle return setup complete with dual springs. The linkage
brackets are all nickel plated for long life and good looks. The
kit comes complete with 12 point mounting hardware. This kit is
designed to work with OEM type throttle cables. |
